A qualified doctor, a free support meeting, or a coach who's been through it herself. Here's where patients and physicians can start.
"Texas Lyme Alliance's mission is to advocate, educate, and legislate for congenital and pediatric Lyme families' right to health through fundraising for a treatment for all."
Our goal is to connect resources to patients and the medical community to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
Lyme is known as the "great imitator" because it mimics diseases like MS, lupus, ALS, Alzheimer's, CFS, ADD, learning differences, dementia, and epilepsy. Left untreated, it can contribute to other conditions, including certain cancers.
Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt studied 237 women with breast cancer and found that 100% tested positive for Lyme disease, though not every Lyme patient studied had breast cancer (Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, Lyme Summit 2018). Dr. Neil Spector, Duke researcher and cardiologist, found that a high number of breast cancer patients also carried bartonella.

Find a DoctorTwelve-step programs work for a wide range of illnesses and have been adapted from the original Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon model for those whose lives have been affected by chronic illness and chronic pain, not just addiction.
Two of the offshoots built specifically for our community are Chronic Illness Anonymous and Chronic Pain Anonymous (CPA), both free and running daily. They can help you shift your mindset around illness and pain toward healing, with compassion and support from people who understand.

Educated by experts on Lyme and pharmacology, Kristina can help support you on this confusing journey. A second pair of ears and eyes can take a look at what you've tried and where you are, to help you get where you want to go.
Kristina has 20 years working in health and wellness, and graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching Program in 2023. She offers one-on-one time with people looking to elevate their health, as well as Lyme patients, in a non-medical capacity to empower, mentor, and share what's worked for her.
She recovered from Lyme and coinfections after 32 years of being misdiagnosed as autoimmune, treated since 2012, and has successfully guided her four congenital Lyme children into remission, achieved by working with some of the best clinicians and health practitioners in the world.
